Abstract

Today, there is a Turkish presence in Germany with a migration history of nearly sixty years. Turkey origin; In time, he started to search for persistence in Germany. The most basic discussions of this quest were carried out on the concepts of integration, multiculturalism and identity. The approaches of Germans and immigrants to living together determine the selected concepts related to this problem. The accumulation of co-existence in multicultural societies has reached a literature that cannot be indifferent. Utilizing this knowledge will play a positive role in understanding many sociological, political and pedagogical problems in today's societies. In the research, the approaches of the German Turks to the concepts of integration, multiculturalism and participation were determined by using interview, focus group interview, observation and documentation methods. 42 interviews with people from different backgrounds and institutions on the subject and focus group interviews on the subject and the findings were analyzed with a holistic approach. "Germany does not pursue a multiculturalist policy and carries out an open integration policy." and "The Turks of Germany tend to exist with their cultural identities instead of assimilation, and they promote the discourse of participation." results have been reached.
