Abstract

The job satisfaction of the employees is directly proportional to the quality of the work done. The happiness of the employees increases the quality of the product or service produced. In this study, the job satisfaction of those working in the landscape sector (Engineers, Office Personnel, Technician) within the scope of quality management systems has been examined theoretically and practically. Besides job satisfaction and its importance, the factors affecting job satisfaction have been revealed, and the relationship between job satisfaction and quality management systems has been examined. The missions of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality operating in the landscape sector, park, garden, landscaping, basin afforestation and plant breeding for these missions have been examined within the framework of quality management systems. For this purpose, the established hypotheses, using inferential statistics methods, the job satisfaction of the business employees, its effects on work efficiency, the factors that affect job satisfaction the most and the least were examined. In addition, as a result of the research, in the light of the data obtained, the effect of demographic variables on job satisfaction was also investigated. As a result of the research; In order to increase job satisfaction, the importance of working environment, employee training, reward and promotion opportunities, relations with colleagues, relations with managers, and improving the level of financial and social opportunities have become evident.
