Abstract

When you look at the 19th century literature and thought history; some authors seem to have a passion for understanding the earth, describing the truth that develops outside of it, and illuminating the problems of the human being, forcing the hidden boundaries of the universe, finding new things and curiosity. One of these rare artists is Baudelaire, which is considered the forerunner of symbolism. The basic creativity point in the formation of the poet's poetry, which bridges between romanticism and symbolism and transcends his works and contemporaries and is directly addressed to the 20th century, is rich imagination power. In a world where good and evil, dream and truth, heaven and hell fight; Baudelaire offers works that will make beauty feel by pushing the boundaries of the mind through the rich imagination power. His works reflect the dualism of existentialism. This is the endless battle of the body with the dual spirit, the thought with matter, and the evil with good. Throughout his life, Baudelaire witnesses the confrontation of these opposite feelings. The poet seeks various ways to get away from this terrible really painful. In this work, we referred to the escape routes that the poet has taken in order to get rid of the tragic position he has fallen into. This study, which we have examined from the way of Baudelaire's poems and life, is important to show how he reflects his strong imagination power and emotional intensity to his poems.
