Abstract

Commercial Law is a branch of private law within the legal order. The contents of commercial transactions are expected to expire in changing circumstances and time. The dynamic existence of trade during the time required the rules stating the rights of the persons involved in trade, and for this purpose the commercial law has been subject to constant changes in order to facilitate the commercial operation and to respond to the changing age and needs. In this study, the historical process of Turkish Commercial Law, the areas of change in the process and the contribution of the changes to the commercial fields will be analyzed.
