Abstract

The aviation industry, in which advanced technology used intensively and which has a high added value, is developing day by day. This brings some risks as well as change and transformation. It may be possible for organizations to take part and exist in this process if risks are predicted and managed better. In this context, risks should be identified and defined correctly, well analyzed, followed by a correct systematic approach, appropriate decisions should be taken related to their outcomes and their effects and they should be managed effectively. In this study, the conceptual examination of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), its parts and management, the risks faced by aircraft maintenance personnel both on the flight lines and the maintenance workplace, and visual examples of OHS practices on the workplace are emphasized. It is aimed to make suggestions for organizations in the sector in the light of the conclusions obtained from the study
