ANALYSIS OF THE RELATIONS BETWEEN GLOBAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP INDEX DIMENSIONS WITH CANONIC CORRELATION

Abstract

In addition to determining the entrepreneurship performances of the countries, the complementary capacities of the dimensions that make up the Global Entrepreneurship Index of the countries are of great importance for the countries to improve their entrepreneurship performance. In this context, the purpose of the study is to determine the relational structure between the dimensions of the Global Entrepreneurship Index within the scope of the values of the components that make up the Global Entrepreneurship Index of 137 countries included in the current Global Entrepreneurship Index report for 2019 by canonical correlation method. According to the findings, it was found that there is a positive, significant and very high level relationship between the entrepreneurial attitudes, entrepreneurial abilities and entrepreneurial aspiration dimensions. When the relational structure between dimensions is evaluated as a whole, it is concluded that the dimension that entrepreneurial abilities contributes the most to the relational structure between dimensions.
