SOME CRIMES AND LEGAL PRACTICES RELATED TO AGRICULTURE IN HITTITE LAW ARTICLES

Abstract

Anatolia has been the center of living and living off various communities in every period of history due to its important geopolitical position, favorable climate, wide agricultural lands, suitable Meadows and pastures for animal husbandry, high mountains, and forests, precious metals, numerous rivers, and lakes. One of the communities that lived on fertile Anatolian lands is the Hittites. These tablets uncovered in the Hittite settlements in central Anatolia are very few of the information about the daily life of the Hittite people.
