Abstract

People have to decide something constantly throughout their life. In the decision making process, solutions are search and aimed to reach these solutions quickly. There are many methods in the concept of mathematical decision making. These are called Multi-Criteria Decision Making Methods (MCDM). MCDM methods provide helpful options for decision making in many areas of life. Using these methods makes it possible to choose the more accurate alternative when making a decision. Today, shopping is not only an action that provides natural needs, but also an activity that evaluates psychological relaxation, fun, rest and free time. Therefore, people are more attentive when choosing a shopping center (SC). The purpose of this study is to determine the preferred order of shopping centers in Konya province by using the Analytical Hierarchy Process, which is one of the MCDM methods.
